Dumplings fit for Olympians

Let me start my very first post by saying that I'm by no means a vegetarian. I call myself Veggie Girl because lately I've made a conscious decision to eat mostly vegetables. By mostly, I mean 90% of my diet is vegetarian. I still cook meals with meat in it about twice a week because of my carnivorous family so my 10% meat diet comes into play when I feel too lazy to cook a separate meal for myself on meat nights. I must say that given my new goal of eating mostly veggies, my family have been very obliging and for that I'm grateful.

One Egg Veggie Omelette (not necessarily vegan)

My favorite meal of the day is breakast and a hefty one that can carry me through the
mid-afternoon.

Stainless Steel vs. Teflon

I used to have Teflon cookware and Annodized Steel cookware. But after all the hype that I read on the long term, not so good effects of Teflon on the body, I decided to switch to Stainless Steel. It took me a while to take the plunge....it was like getting married for me. I am a very thrifty person that's why I weigh everything first. I don't mind spending if I know it's going to last me for a long time, and if I know it's good quality.

Baked Macaroni

A quick and easy meal for casual get togethers and a perfect potluck item to take along.
